Create tasks from Inbox and Project views

Add Tasks

Create tasks from the Add Task bar at the top of the Inbox and Project views. Enter a title, pick a status, and press Enter. You can optionally add description text, labels, dates, a reminder, or attachments before saving.

The Today, Upcoming, and Someday views do not show an Add Task bar.

Tips

  • Keep titles clear and action-oriented.
  • Add dates only when the task needs scheduling.
  • Add labels or a project when the task belongs to a larger area of work.
