Dates, Reminders, and Recurrence
Use dates and reminders when a task needs to appear at the right time.
Scheduled
Dates
Tasks can have start and due dates when they need to appear in scheduled views. Dates can be date-only or include a time.
When Someday is enabled, Moly clears the task's dates, reminders, and recurrence so it stays out of scheduled views until you are ready to plan it.
Reminders
Each task can keep a primary reminder with an optional recurrence pattern, such as daily, weekly, or monthly-style options. Reminder delivery is controlled by notification preferences.
Recurrence
Recurrence controls the reminder pattern. It does not auto-create new task instances.
Someday
Use Someday for work you want to remember but do not want scheduled yet. Someday tasks stay out of scheduled views until you are ready to plan them.
